San Francisco 49ers Sign Wide Receiver Pierre Garcon

A recipient of a bachelor of science in accounting from Athens State University, Lisa Williams has over 30 years of accounting experience. Although she resides in Fayetteville, Tennessee, Lisa Williams is a fan of the San Francisco 49ers football team.

Armed with nearly $99 million in salary cap space heading into the 2017 National Football League (NFL) off-season, the 49ers added high-profile wide receiver Pierre Garcon in March. San Francisco signed the former sixth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts to a five-year, $47 million contract, which included $20 million guaranteed and a $12 million signing bonus.

Garcon spent the last five seasons with the Washington Redskins and caught 21 touchdown passes during that time. He had the best season of his career in 2013 with a league-leading 113 pass receptions, five of which were touchdowns. The nine-year pro has 564 career receptions, 37 touchdowns, and 7,140 yards from scrimmage. He joins a 49ers receiving corps consisting of Jeremy Kerley and recently signed Marquise Goodwin.
